Tianjin's Dongli district held a news conference to introduce its development plans for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), with a focus on optimizing the industrial ecosystem.
Jia Di, Party secretary of the district, highlighted three main strategies for enhancing Dongli's industrial ecosystem and accelerating the construction of a sci-tech innovation green valley, a new urban area, and a major economic zone.
First, Dongli aims to boost industrial growth by improving manufacturing quality and efficiency. This includes nurturing emerging industries and strengthening collaboration with the Civil Aviation University of China to increase the proportion of the high-tech manufacturing sector's added value to 11.5 percent of the total output of enterprises above the designated size. The district also emphasizes supply chain integration to foster cooperation and synergy among enterprises, thereby promoting industrial cluster development.
Second, the district seeks to enhance industrial vitality by optimizing the business environment. This involves streamlining government services to allow businesses to focus on growth, providing targeted policy support, and integrating into the national unified market to build a comprehensive service system.
Finally, Dongli plans to improve urban functionality to create new industrial advantages. By better integrating industrial and urban development, the district aims to drive innovation, elevate industrial capabilities, and improve land-use efficiency.
Jia affirmed Dongli's commitment to creating a more convenient and efficient environment for entrepreneurs and investors by combining infrastructure and talent investments with strategic governance.
