Dongli Customs, along with the Dongli district bureau of commerce and Dongli Airport Economic Zone Management Committee, held a foreign trade policy briefing on May 14.
This initiative supports the implementation of the 24 Tianjin Customs Policies and Dongli district's measures to enhance export-oriented economic growth, aiming to stabilize foreign trade and improve the business environment.
The event featured policy presentations and interactive Q&A sessions, with a focus on meeting enterprises' practical needs. In 90 minutes, experts from Dongli Customs and related departments detailed essential policies, such as the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) system, Tianjin's foreign trade promotion policies, and trade finance.
Dongli Customs has crafted tailored support plans for five local enterprises, effectively reducing costs and increasing efficiency. They plan to continue offering targeted policy guidance and one-on-one support for different groups, to meet development needs and drive higher-quality foreign trade growth.
These practical support measures have addressed development challenges for key foreign trade enterprises.
CNNC Accuray, an AEO-certified company in Dongli focused on R&D of medical linear accelerators, has benefited significantly. With Dongli Customs' assistance, they have achieved tariff reductions, saving substantial annual costs.
This briefing strengthened government-enterprise collaboration, injecting new momentum into the district's economic development.
