Dongli Economic-Technological Development Area
The Economic-Technological Development Area in Tianjin's Dongli district ranked 55th among the 229 national-level economic and technological development zones in 2024, advancing 31 places.
In 2024, the total industrial output value of Dongli Economic-Technological Development Area exceeded 30 billion yuan ($4.13 billion), with a significant project agreement investment of 3.15 billion yuan.
Over the past year, Dongli has been expanding and strengthening leading industries, nurturing emerging industries and introducing a group of high-quality projects with strong driving force and great development potential, such as Iplus Mobot and China Auto Parts & Accessories.
Multiple advanced manufacturing projects like the 3D perspective imaging detection equipment base and key projects such as the R&D evaluation center for electric motor new energy vehicles have also settled there.
In addition, the area has fully leveraged its platform opening advantages, actively expanding international exchanges and cooperation by utilizing platforms such as the Tianjin Investment and Trade Fair and the World Intelligent Driving Challenge.
Significant breakthroughs have also been made in the introduction of foreign investment projects. In 2024, the China regional trade settlement headquarters of Uzbekistan's Hyper Partners Group was established in Dongli Economic-Technological Development Area.
The efforts that Dongli put into cultivating small and medium-sized enterprises paid off with a total of 155 high-tech enterprises and 39 specialized and new enterprises approved last year. Three new digitalized workshops and two new intelligent factories were also established during the year.
In 2025, Dongli will further accelerate the cultivation of strategic emerging industries, expedite the construction of an open economic platform and drive local social and economic development.
