Yonghe village, with its low-lying terrain and saline-alkali soil, used to primarily cultivate dryland crops. Since 2023, however, Dongli district has carried out high-standard farmland development in the area, improving agricultural production conditions and effectively enhancing soil quality. Today, in the rice fields of Yonghe, vast expanses of neatly arranged fields and crisscrossing irrigation channels stretch into the distance, presenting a picturesque view of fertile land.
The development of high-standard farmland has included land consolidation and soil improvement. Formerly low-yielding fields have been transformed into productive and stable "golden lands," driving agricultural specialization, mechanization and scale.
