A press conference announces the three-year plan for constructing Tiankai Dongli Park in Dongli district.
The three-year process of constructing Tiankai Dongli Park in Tianjin in an effort to further promote local aviation and low-altitude industries began in July of this year.
Over the years, Dongli district has facilitated local commercial aerospace and the low-altitude industry chain. It has attracted many leading enterprises such as Hangda Tianyuan, Chengli Aviation, AVIC Armor and Istar Aerospace, with the aerospace industry chain's output value maintaining double-digit growth over the past three years. The output value in the first half of 2024 increased by 31.8 percent year-on-year, showing strong momentum in industrial development.
The establishment of Tiankai Dongli Park aims to promote resource-sharing and collaboration development between Dongli district and the Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park, with plans in place for surrounding transportation, education, healthcare and commercial industries.
Tiankai Dongli Park will incorporate a total area of 1.28 square kilometers, including Civil Aviation University of China (Dongli Campus), Civil Aviation University of China Science and Technology Park, and their surrounding areas.
With a group of local innovative platforms such as multiple key laboratories, technology innovation centers, engineering research centers, and provincial-level think tanks in Dongli district, the park will introduce more incubating technology enterprises, further promoting the innovative development of aviation and low-altitude industries.
