The 2024 Tianjin Happy Dongli Lake Half Marathon took place on April 14 at Happy Valley Square in Tianjin.
This event included the three categories of the half marathon (21.0975 kilometers), a health run (10 kilometers), and a joyful parent-child run (3 kilometers), and attracted 5,000 runners and lots of volunteers and fans to Dongli Lake to enjoy the sports events together.

Starting from the Happy Valley Square, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, the route of the marathon passed through the national 3A-level tourist attraction of Dongli Lake, allowing participants to run amidst the greenery and fully enjoy the beautiful springtime scenery.

In order to attract more people to participate in the event, Tianjin’s Dongli district provided a rich variety of supplies during the activity, as well as prizes for all the runners.

The hosting of the 2024 Tianjin Happy Dongli Lake Half Marathon has showcased the achievements of the integration and development of sports and tourism industries in Dongli Lake. The event attracted many runners from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, as well as from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. The rising popularity of Dongli Lake has also sparked a wave of consumption in the region.
