Recently, the members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Dongli district inspected and supervised the construction of a green ecological barrier in the region.
Zhang Jinqi and Yu Bin, vice chairmen of the CPPCC Dongli Committee, led other members to visit the Haihe green core ecological zone and the green corridor of the ancient coastal wetland in Dongli district.
Since 2018, Dongli has focused on the implementation of ecological restoration projects, afforestation projects, water ecological environment treatment projects, and road construction projects. After four years of planning and construction, the green ecological barrier in Dongli district has reached its initial construction goal. With green space now accounting for 78%, the construction of the ecosystem has injected a strong impetus into the promotion of the regional environment and high-quality development.
The government will continue to focus on ecological development, give full play to Dongli’s own advantages, and deeply cooperate with relevant functional departments. Furthermore, CPPCC members in Dongli will continue to make contributions to high-quality economic and social development by submitting proposals and suggestions to relevant departments, so as to support the comprehensive transformation of the local economic and social development.
