The 2026 China Culture and Tourism Industries Expo (CTIE) took place from Sept 3 to 6 in Tianjin, with Dongli district presenting its premium products.
The event featured numerous industry exchange and promotional activities, providing a platform for industry transactions and cultural tourism displays, allowing visitors to experience new trends and achievements in cultural tourism.
The expo covered 10 exhibition halls spanning 100,000 square meters, showcasing cultural and tourism resources, intangible cultural heritage creations, and unique agricultural products from across China.
Cutting-edge technologies such as AI, VR and AR, and 5G smart scenarios were presented, while achievements in industrial tourism and digital cultural tourism were highlighted, along with trendy offerings like RV camping and low-altitude tourism equipment, signaling new industry directions.
The Dongli booth was a standout, featuring traditional foods like roasted chicken and braised pork; fresh fruits such as grapes, golden pears, and dragon fruit; and intangible cultural heritage crafts like paper-cutting and sculpture. Dongli also showcased its industrial tourism and Dongli Lake cultural tourism resources.
Special exhibits from Lintan in Gansu province and Chengde in Hebei province highlighted regional collaborations between eastern and western China.
